SPOUSE OR BETROTHED: Castor PARENTS: Andromache - Mother Leomadon - Father (deceased) SIBLINGS: none
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ariadne has long dark hair that flows down her back in soft ringlets and deep brown eyes. She's a beautiful woman who stands at an average height of about 5'5" and has a slender yet curvaceous figure. She carries herself with all the grace and beauty one would expect form a queen.
Her clothing consists of all the finest materials available. She's often seen wearing elegant floor length dresses and robes. Her feet are always clad in sandals and she keeps her long dark hair pulled back from her face.
PERSONALITY: Ariadne has always been headstrong and determined with a compassionate heart. She's very strong willed and knows how to get things done. She's a loving and caring woman. When she cares about a friend or relative she will do anything for them, and may possibly die for one of them one day.
Ariadne has a great love of life and all things living. She enjoys spending time outdoors where she can be surrounded by nature and the local wildlife. Her favorite spot in the palace gardens is by a beautiful waterfall. Here she can spend time alone contemplating life or just relaxing and watching the fish swim by or the birds flying overhead.
Being in the garden is Ariadne's way of escaping from the hectic life of nobility. She feels that this is the only place where she can truly be herself. In the garden she doesn't have to act like a queen. But of course, when she's around others she always does whatever is expected of her.
HISTORY: Ariadne is the only daughter of Andromache and Leomadon, the former king and queen of Sparta. When her father died 10 years ago Ariadne was made queen in his place. He had no male heirs and so it was decided that the Spartan throne would be passed on to his daughter. It was at this time that it was decided that Ariadne would be married to her betrothed, Castor.
Castor is a fierce and resolute Spartan warrior who fought alongside King Leomadon in many a battle and was made captain of the Spartan army. He married the king's daughter not long after her coronation. Her mother, Andromache, is still alive but much too old to rule. But Ariadne often turns to her for advice.
