NAME: Georgios
AGE: 21
GENDER: male
PROFESSION: farmer
COUNTRY/EMPIRE: Greece
RESIDING KINGDOM: Sparta
SPOUSE OR BETROTHED: n/a
PARENTS: Kepheus (father; 34, deceased) and Chara (mother; 42)
SIBLINGS: Alkippe (14), Eleni (12), and Melina (8).
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Georgios stands at 6'3", with broad shoulders and chest. He is heavily muscled, from long hours spent working the farm, and his skin is also a darker sun-tinged shade. Georgios had long, curling brown hair that falls about chin-length, and large, chocolate colored eyes fringed by rather long lashes. All together; he quite resembles a puppy dog. His face is rather angular, with high cheekbones and a strong chin. His hands are calloused from work, and he often smells of dirt and earth.
PERSONALITY: Georgios tends to be quite soft-spoken. He is by nature quiet and reserved around those he doesn't know, and avoids meeting new people if possible. He is a dreamer, a thinker, rather than a do-er. One of his biggest faults is that while he dreams and plans for tomorrow; tomorrow has come and gone. Although he does open up to those he trust, Georgios is never a very loud, flamboyant person. Although not one to pick a fight, Georgios is fiercely loyal, and his soft-spokenness is not to be mistaken for weakness.
HISTORY: Georgios lived on a small farm from birth, learning to tend it beside his father as soon as he could walk. It was known that when he came of age, his marriage would be arranged and he would take over ownership of the farm. Such was the privilege and responsibility of the firstborn son.
Georgios's father, Kepheus, took ill and died when Georgios was eleven. He became the head of the house at age eleven, tending the farm so that his widowed mother and younger sisters might have food, and the family might keep their small bit of land.
At an age where most families began to seek out prospective marriages for their sons, Georgios worked each and everyday, working the crops and the land. Whenever they had an excess of crops, Alkippe and Eleni would sell them at the market. Melina tended the one old cow. His mother, along with the girls, worked the house.
Therefore; Georgios's marital status was put on hold, and now at an age when most would have families of their own; he still works so that his sisters can be wed soon. He will probably remain on the farm, tending it for his mother, until the day he dies.
