Plot/Introduction:
Pirates were the rulers of the sea from the late1600's to mid 1800's. This game is set during that time period, in the waters around the globe famous for their piracy, including Madagascar, the Carabean isles, and the famous Tortuga. At this point in time, England was sending out explorations to many other parts of the globe, and pirates became a hassle to be dealt with. The Brittish fleet would be sent out to rid the seas of pirates, and pirates would be hung on Execution Dock, the bodies left out as an example.
Madagascar, Tortuga, and the Caribean Isles became safeports for pirates, and many of the more ruthless rogues are famous still today. You've heard of Bluebeard, Captain Morgan, Gracie O'Malley, and the rest of them? Aye, there were lady pirates too, and just as bloody as the rest.
During a time when the nobility had all the power, and lowerclass ruff had none, life was desolate indeed. A few dared to change that, making their own winds in the world. They pillaged and plundered, stole their fortunes from the rich, and, quite litterally, made a killing. Planting fear in the hearts of the nobles and aristocracy, cutting down anyone in their path. And rest asured, love, the Brittish were quite unhappy.
The tides have turned, me hearties. The calm before the storm is allmost past. Lower the main and topsails and prepare her t' sail. Trouble is brewing. What part will you play?
